Emily Jo Hooker

Emily Jo Hooker, loving mother, daughter, grandmother and sister, age 59,passed away March 15, 2023. Emily was a dedicated mother, loyal friend, devoted grandmother and adoring daughter. Emily grew up in Chillicothe Ohio and graduated from CHS in 1982. Emily was the type of person that no matter what she may have been dealing with at any given moment, she would give her undivided attention and effort to anyone she loved that may have been in need. Her laughter and spunk were truly one of a kind and undoubtedly unforgettable. Emily was preceded in death by her father William E. Brown and close companion Clark E. Graves. Emily is survived by her children Shaney Hooker of Chillicothe Ohio and Maggie Hooker of Columbus Ohio. Grandchildren Billie Hooker and Nora Hooker. Mother Ruth A. Brown of Circleville Ohio. Sister Jerri Metzger (Myron) of Circleville Ohio. Brother William Scott Brown (Scotty) (Phyllis) of Columbus Ohio. Husband Jeffrey Hooker of Columbus Ohio. And granddogs Duke and Daisy.

Services were previously privately held for family.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family, extended family and friends at The Paint Grill Saturday March 25,2023 from 2-6pm.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
