Emmitt Ray Dingus, 41, of Bainbridge, died 1:20 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2021 in Ohio Health Doctors Hospital unexpectedly.

He was born February 24, 1980 in Chillicothe to Ira Copley and Marian Dingus.

Surviving are children, Joshua R. Manuel, of Laurelville and Norma J. Manuel, of Bainbridge; mother, Marian Burns, of Bainbridge; a stepsister, Hannah Copley; a brother, Michael Burns, of Bainbridge; a half-brother, Josh Walls, of Portsmouth; special friends, Jason Murray and Jaybird Manuel, both of Chillicothe. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Dennis Burns.

Emmitt had formerly worked at the former Top Quality and formerly worked at Tim's Tire.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL Home with Rev. Marlin Kellough officiating. Friends may call at Ware Funeral Home12 to 1p.m. prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will follow in Huntington Twp. Cemetery.
