Esther E Bergeron

   Esther E. Bergeron, 88, of Chillicothe, passed at 7:43 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2025 at CareCore at Westmoreland following a extended illness.  

     She was born February 4, 1937, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Granville and Ruby Borland McCoppin.  On May 21, 1977, she married Edgar J. Bergeron, Jr. who passed June 3, 2012. 

     Surviving are children, Mike (Susan) Cottrill, of Londonderry, Rick Cottrill, of Chillicothe, Robert “Tim” (Robert Williamson) Cottrill, of Columbus, Glen (Karen) Leach, of Chillicothe, Nannette (Rodney) Oakes, of Chillicothe, Ginny Curtiss, of Dayton; 6 grandchildren, Michael (Natalie) Cottrill, Sarah Fahl, Nikki (Jason) Gallagher, Dustin (Jennifer) Cottrill, Savannah Oakes and Hilliary (Justin) Cox, Elisha Hess and several great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by; sisters, Juanita Reese and Patty Dunlap, a stepson, Bill Bergeron, a daughter-in-law, Lori Cottrill 

     Esther retired from Rubbermaid and had also worked at the former Schachne’s Department Store.

     The family would like to thank Machelle Stewart at Westmoreland and National Church Residence Hospice.    

     A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2025 in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Mark Gray officiating.  There will be no calling hours.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
