Etta Faye Pilaia

   Etta Faye Pilaia, 72, of Chillicothe passed 7:31 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025 following an extended illness.

     She was born August 8, 1952 in Ironton to the late George Sr. and Nellie Steed Neal.  She was married to Jim Pilaia who proceeded her in death.

     Surviving are sister, Ruth Moore, of Chillicothe; brother, George (Cindy) Neal, Jr., Liberty, IN; several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by sisters, Brenda Oney, Rachel Barnes and Paula Neal.

     Etta attended Jefferson Avenue C.C.C.U. and retired from Adena Regional Medical Center as a nursing assistant after 34 years.

     Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Ted Alspach officiating.  Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday.
