Evelyn "Evie" Ratzlaff Obituary

     Evelyn “Evie” Ratzlaff, 90, of Chillicothe, Ohio went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 19, 2025, at her residence.

     Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Ratzlaff.  They were married for 55 wonderful years and are now reunited in Heaven.  She was also predeceased by her parents, Zona and Edward Henry Perkins of McArthur, Ohio, and her sister, Edwina Braun.

     She is survived by her four children, son, Michael B. (Beth) Ratzlaff, daughters, Tracy Cruz, Julie (Gregg) Wright and Kelly (Parrish) Pinkerton; grandchildren, Michael S. (Julie) Ratzlaff, Blair (Bill) Miller, Brock (Shannon) Ratzlaff, Brady (Erin) Ratzlaff, Jordan Cruz, Taylor (Apo) Cruz Mwila, Brianne Bowers, Brent (Jennifer) Bowers, Joshua (Samantha) Hixon, and Hollie (Nathanial) Pottinger; great grandchildren, Anna Ratzlaff, Ally Ratzlaff, Braelyn Ratzlaff, Evie Ratzlaff, Jeremiah Cruz, Roman Mwila, Jace Cruz, Josiah Cruz, Henry Bowers, Ezekiel Pottinger, Kover Hixon and Evelyn Hixon.

     Evelyn worked alongside her husband, Chuck, as his secretary of Ratzlaff Construction Company for over 50 years.  She loved to travel all over the world with her friend, June Haubeil.  She was a faithful Bible reader and read the entire Bible every year for the last 15 years.

     -Finally Home-

But just think of stepping on shore and finding it Heaven.

Of touching a hand and finding it God’s.

Of breathing new air and finding it celestial.

Of waking up in glory and finding it home.
