Fannie L. Mankin

Fannie L. Mankin, 94, of Chillicothe passed 6:20 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025 in The Vineyards at Concord following a brief illness.

     She was born December 18, 1930 in Paintsville, KY to the late Lee and Hannah Montgomery Tackett.  On December 24, 1953 she married Robert E. Mankin who preceded her on August, 20, 2009.

    Surviving are children, Jim (Kerry) Mankin, of Chillicothe, Randy (Loretta) Mankin, of Chillicothe and Helen (John) Milliken, of Frankfort; grandchildren, Josh (Kayla) Mankin, Dustin (Mel) Martin, Shawn (Danielle) Mankin, Kelli (Adam) Mankin, Jamie (Adam) Mankin, Tina Jessee, Dawn (“Bull”) Dunham and Christopher (Jennifer) Jessee; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Elaine) Tackett and Lawrence (Linda) Tackett, both of Waverly; numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by sisters, Candymay, Gladys and Betty; brothers, Doc, Ernest, Arnoldlee and Red Tackett.

     Fannie was a homemaker for her family.

     Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rob Fowler officiating.  Burial will follow in Caldwell Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Ware Funeral Home.
