Garry M. Britton

Garry M. Britton, 88, of Chillicothe passed 9:30 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Adena Regional Medical Center.

     He was born January 2, 1936 in Hamden to the late Carl and Pearl Garrison Britton.  On November 20, 1964 he married Joyce A. Caplinger who survives.

     Also surviving are children, M. Todd (Dana) Britton, Christa (Sean) McKee and Jody (Kenneth) Good, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Taylor (Curt) Geise, Payton Britton, Garrett Britton, Cade McKee, Kohl Good and Hayden Good.  He was predeceased by brothers, Bob, Gene and Hoyt Britton and sister, Patricia Davis.

     Garry served in the United States Army.  He retired from DuPont.  Garry was a huge supporter of 4-H and the Ross County Fair.  Over the years, he was part of several fair committees.  Garry attended his 79th Ross County Fair this year.  He enjoyed attending the many activities that his grandchildren participated in.

     A graveside service will be held approximately 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2024 in Rowland Cemetery with Matt Daniels officiating.  Visitation will be held in the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the graveside service on Saturday.
