Glena E. Ray

     Glena Ray, 73, of Chillicothe, passed 3:36 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2024 at her residence unexpectedly.

     She was born October 3, 1950, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Glen and Bennie Ward. 

     Surviving are sons, Garry (Wendy) Ray and Geremy Ray; a daughter, Charity Ray, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Dylan, Madison and Tara Ray, Levi and Micah Simon and Sebastian Ray; cousins, Dwight Ward, Darlene Ward and Angie Hipp; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Cathy Ray, Mike (Christy) Ray, Rick (Kathy) Ray and LuAnn (Aaron) Riley, all of Chillicothe; and best friend, Stella McWhorter.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her former husband, Garry Ray. 

     Glena had worked as a Teachers Aid for Pike Christian Academy.  She was a former member of Open Door Ministries. 

     Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Thursday, August 15, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME.  Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery.  Visitation will be held in the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
