Gloria I. Honline Obituary

     Gloria I. Honline, 68, of Chillicothe, passed at 12:10 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2022 at her residence following a brief illness.

     She was born July 22, 1954, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Murray E. and Bessie E. Saltz Landrum.  On May 2, 1979, she married Robert E. Honline who passed January 9, 2012.

     Surviving are a daughter, Tammy Landrum, of Chillicothe; several step children and step grandchildren; “special grandchildren”, Zeiden Osborne, Joey Hurley, Dakota Jones and Lucas and Riley McCoy; a sister, Mary Dee Landrum, of Frankfort; brothers, Richard (Sue) Landrum, of South Carolina and Charles (Missy) Landrum, of Mississippi; an adopted sister, Paula Fairbanks, of Chillicothe; “special children”, whom she considered family, Sherry Trego, Kelli Leeson, Brandon Osborne and Josh McCoy; a nephew, Michael (Jen) Cade; and nieces, Rene (Kevin) Fager, Brandy and Stacey Landrum.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

     Gloria retired from the Chillicothe VA Medical Center where she had worked for 25 years and was a 1972 graduate of Chillicothe High School.  She was an avid reader and especially enjoyed reading Biker Drama books.  Gloria enjoyed spending time at the Hardtail Cafe and Saloon.    

     Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Mike Cade officiating.  Burial will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to her funeral service on Friday.
