Obituary
Gordon L. Downing, 69, of Chillicothe, passed January 29, 2023, following an extended illness.
He was born May 15, 1953, in Chillicothe, Ohio to Gloria (Mingus) and Wendell (Jerry) Downing, both deceased.
Gordon was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, and had been self-employed.
He is survived by his brothers, Gary (Jackie) Downing and Glendon Downing, both of Chillicothe, his sisters, Gloria Elaine (John) Farmer, of Richmond Dale, and Gwendolyn Thompson of Kingston, and several nieces and nephews.
Respecting Gordon’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. A Family Memorial Dinner will be held at a later date.
