Helen M. Barker

 Helen M. Barker, age 90, of Chillicothe, Ohio, is now in Heaven and Celebrating on The Streets of Gold.  On February 11th, 2025, Helen went peacefully to her Eternal Home.  
     Born May 19th, 1934, the daughter of the late John Lloyd and Peachie Howard Murray, of Latham, Ohio.  
     Helen is survived by 2 sons, Robert H. Barker, wife Melanie, of Waverly and Darryl L. Barker, of Chillicothe; a grandson, Paul J. “PJ” Barker, wife Kimberly, of Sunbury; and great granddaughters, Olivia “Tootlebug” and Emilia “Millie” Barker; a special loved one who she always referred to as her 3rd son, David Roosa, of Waverly; JR Fisher, of Chillicothe and Maggie Easter, of Waverly.  She was predeceased by 2 brothers, 7 sisters and a special nephew, Wayne Pfeifer.
     Helen was a devoted and dedicated U.S. Postmaster for 30 years serving in Latham, Beaver and retired from Lucasville, Ohio.  She was a member of the Latham Rebecca’s Lodge and Eastern Star.  
     A private burial will be held for the family in Twin Township Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
