Imogene Marcum, 92, of Frankfort, passed at 1:23 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2024 in Embassy of Valley View following an extended illness.
She was born March 10, 1932, in Greenup County, Kentucky, to the late David and Esther Fraley. On December 27, 1948, she married Charles Edward Marcum who passed September 7, 2017.
Surviving are a daughter, Margie (Don Haddix) Fisher, of Williamsport; a son, Charles Wayne Marcum, of Belleview, FL; grandchildren, Charles Marcum, Jennifer (Doug) Tanchek, Todd Sergent and Jordan Kennedy; great grandchildren, Olivia, Dominick, Brody, Bailey and Junior; a sister, Julia Davis, of Chillicothe; brothers, Joe (Velma) Cassel and Dewey (Linda) Cassel; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Ben McKenzie, of Jackson and brothers, Jim and Dave Cassel.
Imogene retired from Lucent Technologies in Columbus and had attended Mt. Tabor Community Christian Church.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024 in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating. There will be no public calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
