James D. Caudill

     James Douglas Caudill, 59, of Chillicothe, passed at 9:50 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2024 in the Adena Regional Medical unexpectedly. 

     He was born February 6, 1965, in Ross County, to James Edward and Sue Ellen Haddox Caudill, both who survive.  On January 16, 1991, he married the former Wendy Parker who passed December 10, 2022.

     In addition to his parents, he is survived by children, Autumn R. Caudill and her fiancé, Ryan Hurley whom James considered a son, Elijah Caudill, Jared Caudill and Sonora Caudill; 14 grandchildren; a brother, Rick (Cherie) Caudill; sisters, Dianna (John) Harris and Linda (Leaf) Hartkopf; companion, Sharon Richter; and several nieces and nephews. 

     James worked for Caudill Signs and Graphics.  He was a member of Jefferson Avenue CCCU.  James was a loving husband, father, son and brother.  He was loved by his family and many friends and will be dearly missed by all of them.   

     A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
