James E Hanks

   James E. Hanks, 73, of Chillicothe, died 3:50 a.m. Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born October 29, 1947, in Willard, KY, to the late Rev. C.E. and Delores (Keyes) Hanks.

   Surviving are sons, Shawn (Tiffany) Hanks, of Chillicothe, Jason (Leah) Hanks, of Homosassa, FL and Jarrod (Casey) Hanks, of Grove City; grandchildren, Alisha Sexton, Kerri Hanks, Ryan Hanks, Madison Hanks, Jayden Hanks, Ethan Hanks, Evan Hanks, Hudson Hanks, Judah Hanks, Hollynd Hanks, Avery Hanks and Owen Hanks; great grandchildren, Charlee Sexton and Keni Sexton; a brother, Paul Hanks, of Louisville, KY; a sister, Kathy (Dale) George, of Hilliard and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Marsha Hanks/Garside; and a nephew, Nathan George.

   James was the co-owner of A Moment In Time Studio, Grove City with his companion Susan Wiberg for over 30 years. He was a member of the Cypress Wesleyan Church, Hillard and a United States Army veteran having served in Vietnam.

   Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in Springbank Cemetery with his brother-in-law Pastor Dale George, officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. There will be no public calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
