James “Mole” Miner, 74, of Chillicothe, passed at 6:09 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026 at CareCore at Westmoreland, Chillicothe, following an extended illness.
He was born October 17, 1951, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Gene and Elizabeth Johnson Miner.
Surviving are brothers, Steven Miner, of Chillicothe, Gary (Debi) Miner, of Hillsboro and Jack (Brian Dozer) Miner, of Cincinnati; a sister-in-law, Carol Miner, of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Ron Miner.
Jim was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Zion Baptist Church. He was known in the community for his time working for the former Clark Oil and the Chillicothe Paints where he was a Partner and Clubhouse Manager.
Jim’s family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2026 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
