Janet Faye Bucy

     Janet Faye Bucy, 86, of Chillicothe, passed at 5:46am Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at her home following an extended illness.

     She was born October 31, 1938, in Chillicothe, to the late Carl and Ruth Howard Bucy. Janet was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, staff, housemates, and many more whose lives were touched by her.

     Those who knew Janet will remember her for her infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, her big beautiful brown eyes, and her unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone she encountered. She had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.

     Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Monday, November 25th, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Chaplain Harry Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the Ware Funeral Home one hour prior to the funeral services on Monday.
