Janet Lee (Southall) Madru

     Janet Lee (Southall) Madru passed away from this life on October 27, 2024. She was born April 17, 1952 to the late Harold & Irene Southall. On October 21, 1989, she married Jim Madru, who passed away in 1991.

     Janet is survived by a son, Johnithan & wife Victoria Kussart, of Joshua Tree, CA; 6 grandchildren, Sierra Kussart, of Chillicothe, Johnithan “Alex” & wife Heaven Kussart, of Washington State, Marissa, Rachael, Matthew, and Tiffani Kussart, of Joshua Tree, CA; great grandchildren, Lola and Murcy Kussart, both of Chillicothe; a sister, Nedra & husband Willie Downs, of GA; several nieces & nephews; and many dear friends.  Besides her parents and husband, Janet was predeceased by two brothers, Dayton Southall and Linden Harvey and a sister Willodene Lawson.

     Janet is a member of Freewill Baptist Church of Chillicothe.

      Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mitchell Salyers officiating.  Burial will follow in Saint Margaret's Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
