Janice M. Gumm, 72, of Circleville, died 2:19 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born September 23, 1948, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Edward and Nancy Tillis Harmount.

Surviving are daughters, Tammy (Tim Herron) Cunningham, of Circleville and Christy (Jeff James) Howell, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Nate Ferenbaugh, Justin Lawhorn, Tyler Howell, McKenzie Cunningham and Chastity Cooper; great grandchildren, Jaysik Ferenbaugh, Sidney Lawhorn and Luka Tunstall; a brother, Bob Sanford, of Chillicothe; sisters, Jackie (John) Rardin, of Chillicothe, Jill (Eric) Steinbrook, of Chillicothe, Julie Bostick, of Columbus and Melody Wolfe, of Chillicothe; father of her children, James Smith, of Cocoa Beach, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a sister, Becky Campos-Six.

Family and friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2021.  There will be no funeral service.  Burial will be held in Brown's Chapel Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home.
