Jason T. Schobelock

     Jason T. Schobelock, 56, of Chillicothe, passed 11:41 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness.

     He was born January 3, 1967, in Chillicothe, to Richard and Vicki Acord Schobelock.  On April 1, 1988, he married the former Beth A. Arrowood who survives.

     In addition to his wife, surviving are his mother, Vicki Foltz; a daughter, Courtney Schobelock; a son, Jacob (Delanie) Schobelock, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Wayla and Kazlo Schobelock; brothers, Joseph (Norma) Manna II, of Mississippi, Jeremy Schobelock and Jonathan (Suellen) Schobelock, both of Chillicothe; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Janet Borders, of Chillicothe; a sister-in-law, Debra (Yancy) Cordle, of Amanda; and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his father, Richard Schobelock.

     Jason was a member of Church Triumphant.  He retired from C.R.C. in Orient where he had worked as a Correction Officer for 30 years.  Jason was a N.Y. Yankees fan, enjoyed special time with his family and grilling out with family and friends.  He was a Michigan fan only because his friends liked Ohio State. 

     The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the staff at N.C.R. Hospice for the wonderful care given to Jason and compassion shown to our family during this time.  They truly went above and beyond. 

     Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Aaron Hines officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.
