Jeannie L. Butler

Jeannie Butler, 72, of Lucasville passed 9:28 p.m. April, 16, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness.

   She was born January 14, 1953 in Knoxville, TN to the late Carl W. and June L (Fritz) Butler.

   Surviving are companion,  Ralph Myers, of Chillicothe; daughter and son-in-law, Terri Lynn and Jason Payne; grandchildren, Joshua Payne and companion Raelee, of Waverly, Brad Payne and companion Sarah, of Piketon, Breanna (Jimmy) Arledge, of Piketon; great grandchildren, Trinity, Gracie, and Paisley Arledge, Sadie, Braylee, and Dawson Payne; a sister, Vickie (Shane) McClean, of Chillicothe; brothers, Bill (Susie) Butler, of Chillicothe, Roger (Sonnie) Butler, of Circleville; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Patricia G. “Patty” Butler.

   Jeannie was a 1972 graduate of Unioto High School, where she was a cheerleader for the Shermans. She was a former employee of DuPont and the former Butlers Carryout.

   A Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon Thursday, April 24, 2025 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Bud Lytle officiating. Burial will follow in Huntington Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
