Jennie Mae Manion, 78, of Chillicothe, died 2:23 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born December 22, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Rush and Susan Armantrout Thompson.
Surviving are children, Orrin (Rebecca) Sprouse, of Chillicothe, Rob (Jackie) Sprouse, of Londonderry and Christal (Mike) Butterbaugh, of Chillicothe; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a brother, Rush Thompson, Jr., of Zaleski, OH; a son-in-law, Scott Ramsey, of Ray, OH; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas W. Manion; sons, Timothy and Donald Sprouse; a daughter, Vickie Ramsey; and a brother, Buddy Thompson.
The family wants to especially thank her daughter-in-law, Rebecca, for the loving care given to Jennie the past several years.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2021 in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jackson, OH with Pastor Cliff Harber officiating. There will be no public calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
