Jerri L. Ramey

Jerri L. Ramey, 62, of Chillicothe, passed at 6:47 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2026 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

     She was born July 9, 1963, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Chester and Garnet Clary Ramey. 

     Surviving are a son, Dustin (Heather Moats Ramey) Ramey, of Johnstown, OH; a daughter, Ashlee Hott, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Hope, Loyal, Nancy and Lucy; a sister, Sherry Ramey, of Chillicothe; and her faithful friend, her cat, Baby.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Gary Ramey. 

     Jerri loved helping others, enjoyed reading and watching television.  Above all, Jerri loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

     In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the WARE FUNERAL HOME to assist the family with funeral expenses.

     A funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Christoper David officiating.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Monday.
