Jimmy Walters Obituary

Jimmy Joe Walters, 43, of Chillicothe, passed Friday, January 31, 2020 in Columbus unexpectedly.

He was born December 6, 1976, in Youngstown, AZ to the late Jimmy J. Stewart and Barbara K. Walters. On August 1, 2016, he married the former Clara Blevins who survives.

Also surviving are children, Joeslyn and Leah Walters, both of Waverly; a stepdaughter, Montana Buchanan, of Chillicothe; stepsons, Denver Blevins, of Ashland, KY and Corey Taylor, of Chillicothe; two granddaughters, Paisley and Bella Blevins; a sister, Ruth Ann (Seth) White, of Chillicothe, Priscilla (Neil) Hillard, of West Liberty, OH and Jennifer (Alex) Tousignant, of Toledo, OH, Erin Snider, of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews and stepfather, Aaron Snider Jr., of Frankfort. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Zachary Walters and a half brother, Jim Stewart, Jr.

Jimmy proudly served in the United State Marine Corps during the first Gulf War.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2020 in Greenlawn Cemetery’s Soldiers Square where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. Pastor Dean Hughes will officiate. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 10 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the service on Friday.
