Joan F. Woolum

     Joan F. Woolum, 79, of Chillicothe, passed at 6:26 a.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2024 in Legacy of Chillicothe following an extended illness.

     She was born March 12, 1945, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late John and Evelyn Hunt Norris.  On February 12, 1965, she married Charles E. “Sonny” Woolum who passed June 19, 1990. 

     Surviving are sons, Edward Woolum, Troy Woolum, John Woolum and Ronald Woolum, all of Chillicothe; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Claytor, of Chillicothe; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a son, Michael Woolum; a brother, Edward Moss; and sisters, Debra Flesher and Rosemary Martin. 

     Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Saturday, August 10, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held in the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
