Joanne Stevens

  Joanne Stevens, 84, of Chillicothe passed 7:35 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

   She was born December 14, 1939 in Vinton County to the late Otis and Clara Thacker Graves.  On November 24, 1962 she married Larry W. Stevens who survives.

   Also surviving are children, Elizabeth (Paul) Smallwood and Robert (Ann) Stevens, both of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Suzanne (Cory Arnold) Case, Thomas (Ireland) Case, Robin Coey and Travis Schoonover; great granddaughter, Scarlett Case; brother, Claude (Georgene) Graves, of Blacklick; sisters-in-law, Linda Graves, of Pandora and Julia Graves, of St. Marys; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by brothers, Keith, Gene, Ray and Donald Graves; sister-in-law, Carol Graves.

   Joanne worked at E.M. Smith Jewelers over 30 years.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

   A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2024 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME.   Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday.
