John M. Willis

     John M. Willis, 66, of Chillicothe, passed away Wednesday morning, August 7, 2024, at home after a lengthy illness. 

     He was born September 12, 1957, in Ironton, Ohio, to the late Perry Bruce and Pearl Delux Willis. 

     Surviving are his fiancée, Marcia Eyre; a sister, Teresa (Bob) Hancock; a special granddaughter, Hope Parker (Erica); Marcia’s sons, Jeremy (Chrissy) Eyre and Justin (Amy) Eyre; many grandchildren and great grandchildren that he loved as his own; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Seitz and Marvin Penwell; and several cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Willis. 

     John was a member of Masonic Lodge #6 F&AM, Chillicothe.  He had been an electrician for many years as well as many other jobs.  If something was broken, he knew how to fix it.  John was a very giving man, donating time and money to help other people.  He wanted his donations to remain anonymous.

     The family would like to thank Adena Hospice, Dr. Seidensticker and especially his nurse, LeaAnn Mullins.  We could not have made it without all of you. 

     Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Monday, August 12, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Oval Osborne officiating.  Burial will follow in Bishop Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held in the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday.
