John C. Napier, III

     John C. Napier, III, 56, of Chillicothe, passed at 1:47 a.m. Sunday, October 2, 2022 at his residence unexpectedly.

     He was born October 15, 1965, in Elyria, Ohio, to John C. Jr. and Wilma Jean Rich Napier.

     Surviving are his children, Jessica Napier, of Piketon, Josh Napier and his fiancee, Sara Mossbarger, of Waverly and Alyssa Baker-Napier, of Dunlap, TN; grandchildren, Laila, Hopelyn, Sterling, Amelia, Jaxon, Josiah; sisters, Patricia (David) Spriggs, of Chillicothe and Christina (Billy) Riffe, of Chillicothe; a brother, Christopher (Dawnann) Napier, of Piketon; former wife and mother of his children, Jae Stanley, of Piketon; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his mother, Wilma Jean Napier; a grandson, Elias Jude Martin; maternal grandparents, Jesse and Virtie Bilbury Rich; and paternal grandparents, John C. and Pearlene Mullen Napier.

     John would do anything to help anyone out.  He will be missed by his family and many friends.

     A celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
