John Joseph "Joe" Brown, Jr.

  John Joseph “Joe” Brown Jr., 64, of Chillicothe walked confidently to the gates of heaven and entered in October 13, 2022 following an extended illness.

     He was born May 22nd, 1958 in Franklin County to the late John Joseph Brown Sr. and Edna (Wells) Brown.

     Surviving is his wife, Cheryl Ann; son, Michael Brown; daughters, Kyndall (Josiah) Sifford, Kellsie (Preston) Prather, Kassidy Brown, Amber Wright (Peter Hawkins) and Hannah Wright; grandchildren, Johnny, Joey and Jimmy Brown and Fynlee Sifford.

     He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Kathy and his beloved son, John J. Brown III.

     Joe worked at Pixelle Specialty Papers.  He loved to be outside on his farm working with his horses Bob and Budd,  and creating the life he had always dreamed.  He was a member of the Mt Zion CCCU Church in Lucasville and an incredible man of God.

     Special thanks to Bonnie Garress and Hope Gallaugher for being there for the family at all hours day and night.

     In lieu of flowers, Cheryl, has asked that the people who know and loved Joe wear their bibs to “honor” him during the calling hours.

     Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mark Rosser officiating.  Burial will follow in Huntington Township Cemetery.  Friends and family may call from 5 – 8 p.m. on Monday.
