Joyce Edler Obituary

Joyce Ann Edler, 65, of Chillicothe, passed away 2:37 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the Adena Regional Medical Center.

She was born August 23, 1956 to Kenneth and Mary (Draise) Kern. On August 18, 1979 she married Steve Edler who survives.

Surviving are children, Stephanie (Steven) Dunn and Jason Edler both of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Danielle Edler (fiancé Brandon McQuay), Jason Edler, Jr, Kaylea Edler; brothers, David Kern, Eddie (Vonda) Kern both of Chillicothe; sister, Linda Eblin of Chillicothe; sister-in-law; Carolyn (Mike) Riffle; nieces Samantha Kern and Holly (Cory) Helford both of Chillicothe; and her beloved dog, Lily. She was predeceased by brother, Kenny Kern and her mother & father-in-law, Leslie and Vera Edler.

Joyce retired from Wal-Mart as a cashier.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2022 at Huntington Township Cemetery with Brian Wisecup officiating. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. on Friday at the graveside. Services are under the direction of WARE FUNERAL HOME.
