Obituary
Joyce Carol Salley-Little, 78, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Adena Regional Medical Center due to complications from lung cancer.
She was born August 9, 1943 in Maloneton, KY to the late John H. and Trenna (Compton) Fleming. She is predeceased by brothers, James, Bill and Charles Fleming; sisters, Ruby Adkins, Wanda Blankenship, and Loretta Schrake. She is survived by sister Betty Hurst and several loving nieces and nephews.
Joyce lived at Hopeton Terrace in Chillicothe for many years. She was a strong Christian that served most recently at High Street Church of Christ in Christian Union. She loved music and singing with her sisters when she was young.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-2 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. on Saturday with Pastor Bruce Viar officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Methodist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice for the advancement of heart health, cancer research or for the care of disable veterans.
