Joyce A. Zickafoose

     Joyce A. Zickafoose, 80, of Chillicothe, Ohio, died 12:12 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

     She was born December 16, 1940, in Frankfort, Ohio, to the late William T. and Luella Skeens Storer.  On October 8, 1958, she married Donald L. Zickafoose who died February 26, 2016. 

     Surviving are sons, Greg (Cathy) Zickafoose, of Henrico, VA and Jeff (Tammy) Zickafoose, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Josh (Malorie) Zickafoose, Staci (Nick) Craig, Drew (Janna) Zickafoose, Krista DePugh, Audra Zickafoose and Marisa (Jose) Hernandez; great grandchildren, Jade, Jozie, Jace, Jaxon, Judah, Kendall, Ashton, Makenna, Evelyn, Joelle, Rowan, Kylie, Bella, Adrian, Savannah, Kaylee, Toby, Aria and Isla; a brother, Ron (Gloria “Jeannie”) Storer, of Frankfort; a sister, Joannie (David T.) Blazer, of Oceanside, CA; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Marlin and Sharon Zickafoose; a sister-in-law, Toshi Storer, of Columbia, SC; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Donald and Richard Storer and a sister-in-law, Deedee Storer. 

     Joyce was a member of Mt. Tabor Community Christian Church and attended First Wesleyan Church.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

     Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jon Welch officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, OH.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
