What an awesome gift and what an incredible journey that life is. Judy finished the earthly portion of this journey and passed peacefully on into eternal life after an extended bout with Parkinson disease. She will be sorely missed by her children –a daughter Beth (Neal) Yeomans [their children – Kristen (Joe) Rosaco [their children - Jamison, Marci, and Gideon], a married grandson Jesse (Victoria) Yeomans, grandsons Micah and Josiah Yeomans, granddaughters Lily and Maren Yeomans], a beloved and devoted son Kevin, a second son John David (Leslie) Hortel [their children - Jack and Ruby], three very special sisters-in-laws, Becky (Jeff) Fueger [their adult children – David, Amy, and Max], Patsy (Lloyd) Hardy [their adult children- Ric (Marissa) Guerra, Francesca (Ryan) Phillippi], and also Lebonna (Tom - deceased) Hortel [her sons - Taylor and Marshall] and lastly she will be missed by her husband of 53 years – John who will continue his earthly trek until by the amazing grace and unmerited mercy of a loving God will one day join her.
On the WALT and LUTZ sides of the family, over the years Judy had kept in touch with her cousins. Her devotion and love for them as well as the memories of their time together as children was and is very special. Most of her aunts and uncles have passed, but one uncle, Bobby Creiglow of Summerset Kentucky (a missionary and a spiritual father to Judy) and a very special aunt - Rita Walt of Lancaster Ohio are still living. She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Flossie (Lutz) Walt.
Our family would like to thank all of the friends and neighbors who showered us with love during this time (how can we thank you enough). We would also like to acknowledge the incredible Adena Hospice team. You guys are truly God’s earthly ‘Angles of Light’. Also of note are the aides and personnel from the National Church Residency. You as well have that special God-given gift of compassion. Keep the flame going.
The Lord Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith, who with-out Him, all life and the hope and the path to eternal life would not be possible. To Him be all honor, glory and praise forever and ever.
Memorial contributions can be made in Judy’s name to one (or more) of the following: Brookside Church, the local chapter of Child Evangelism (Jesus said - suffer not the little children to come unto Me), the Ross County Christian Academy and also the Gideon’s International.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday.
