Karen K. Long

     Karen K. Long, 79, of Chillicothe, passed at 12:25 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024 at her residence.

     She was born July 24, 1945, in Chillicothe, to the late Everett and Euthena Renchen Carnes.  On September 26, 1964, she married Marlan L. Long who passed June 24, 2021. 

     Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Mindy K. and Bobby L. Johnson, of Chillicothe; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael L. and Lacey S. Long, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Dallas Johnson, Austin Long, Evan (Kylee) Long, Corbin Long and Tenleigh Long; and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Sue Meeker, of Chillicothe. 

     Karen retired from Chilpaco and was a longtime member of the Igniters Car Club. 

     Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, October 7, 2024 at WARES from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. There will be no funeral service.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
