Kathleen "Kathy" J. Williams

Kathleen Hess Chesshir Williams, 63, of Frankfort, went to be with her Lord while surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness.

     She was born March 20, 1959, of Columbus, Ohio, to the late Melvin L. and Glennadine Albright Hess.  On may 19, 1990, she married Jerald Williams who survives. 

     Also surviving are a son, Zack Williams, of Lancaster; daughters, Crystal (Wayne) Sweigart, of Columbus, Sondra (Richard) Mitchell, of Ray and Tonya Curry, of Frankfort; grandchildren, Josh (Dana Copeland) Sweigart, of Columbus and Amber Ferguson Self, of Frankfort; great grandchildren, Sam, Addie and Peyton; granddog, George; former son-in-law, Pat Ferguson, of Frankfort; a sister, Marlene Fannon, of Frankfort; an aunt, Geraldine Curry, of Chillicothe; a nephew, Danny Smith; and great nephews including, Nick Smith.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant son, Walter Chesshir, Jr.; a nephew, Eric Smith; and numerous other extended family members.

    Kathy attended Church Triumphant and Harvest Center Church of God.  She was a retired private duty caregiver.  Kathy’s passions in life were God, family and helping others.  She was a mother to all and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.   

     The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the staffs of the Adena Regional Medical Center and National Church Residences Hospice for the wonderful care given to Kathy and compassions shown to our family during this time.   

     Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Aaron Hines officiating.  Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
