Kathy McKinnis Obituary

Kathy L. McKinnis, 65, of Chillicothe, passed away at 7:57 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.

She was born May 9, 1956 to the late Clayton and Marie (Stotridge) Thompson. On January 24, 1974 she married Robert Kacey McKinnis who passed away on April 18, 2010.

Surviving are daughter, Tanya McKinnis; grandchildren, Torri Rigsby (Steve Lyons), Taylor and William Scaggs; great grandchildren, Ahnalla Lyons, Zxavier Hamilton, Olivia Scaggs; brother, Frank (Connie) Thompson of Chillicothe; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by brother, Jerry Thompson and sister, Debbie (Thompson) Lindsey.

Kathy was a bar tender at the American Legion Post 62. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Dean Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
