Kathy A. Nichols

Kathy A. Nichols, 65, of Waverly, passed at 7:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024 at her residence following an extended illness.

     She was born January 28, 1959, in Chillicothe, to the late Albert and Holly M. Holtzclaw Nunley. 

     Surviving are a son, David Wayne Nichols; step children Marcus Hurley and Levi Hurley; grandchildren, Briana and Baylee; longtime companion, Paul Andrew Tursky; a brother, Danny Nunley; sisters, Laura Bethel, Diane (Fred) Gillette, Becky (John) Rose, Connie (Ronnie) Butterbaugh, Penny Waddle, and Cynthia Penrod; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a son, Brian Nichols; a step son, Virgil Hurley; and brothers, Randy, Johnny and Eddie; and a sister, Janet Gillum. 

     Kathy retired from Shelley’s Nursery.

     A celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
