Kendall R. Skaggs, 54, of Chillicothe, passed at 5:06 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2022 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.
He was born October 29, 1967, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Ernie and Ruth Vandemark Skaggs, both who survive of Chillicothe.
In addition to his parents, surviving are a brother, Kevin R. (Kathy Shanton) Skaggs; a sister, Kelley R. (Stephen R.) Park; fiancée, Tonya Knox and her son, Tucker Knox, all of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews; and many friends including special friends, Steve and Diana Hughes, Chuck and Trudy Eyre, Julie and Ed Alexander, Kevin and Carlene Trimble and Eric Cooley. He was predeceased by his brother, Kyle R. Skaggs and a niece, Olivia Skaggs.
Kendall was a supervisor at Barber Spring Ohio. He was a member of F.O.E. Aerie 685 in Circleville, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1626 in Chillicothe, VFW Post 108, American Legion Post 757 and Ducks Unlimited. Kendall enjoyed bowling, golf, hunting, billiards and spending time relaxing in his pool with Tonya and friends.
Family and friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon Monday, October 10, 2022. A graveside service will follow calling hours and will start at approximately 12:45 p.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery. All are welcome to attend a celebration of his life following the graveside service at The Green Barn, 976 Rozelle Creek Road Chillicothe, OH.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a hurricane relief fund set up by the family at Homeland Credit Union, account “Kelley Park/Hurricane” Relief for Ross Co. Natives, who were displaced by hurricane Ian.
