Kenneth L. Downs, Sr., 70, of Chillicothe passed 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

He was born April 24, 1955 in Chillicothe to the late Bernard W. “Wes” and Patricia A. Boggess Downs. On May 10, 1974 he married Robin Cole who survives.

Also surviving are children, Kenneth L. Jr. (Nikki) Downs, of Nashville, TN and Katie (Cory Vickers) Atwood, of Chillicothe; grandsons, Jacob, Joshua, Isaac and Joseph Downs, Benjamin and Brody Atwood; brother, James (Toni) Downs, of Clover, S.C.; sister, Becky Graves, of Chillicothe. He was predeceased by brother, Timothy Downs.

Kenneth was a retired general contractor.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Jefferson Avenue C.C.C.U. with Pastor Mark Clendaniel officiating on Monday, June 23rd, 2025, 3 to 5 p.m.
