Kenneth Eugene Davidson

     Kenneth Eugene Davidson, 94, born on September 6, 1927 in Vinton, Ohio passed away October 7,2021 in New Hampshire. He was the son of Emmett William Davidson and Blanche Marie Deckard. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army in the military police from 1945 to 1948 where he met and married Lena V. Davidson. They lived in Gallipolis and Kanauga before moving to Chillicothe Ohio in 1968. They raised four children Sandra Barnes, Patsy Winewriter, Linda Jacobs, and John Davidson.

     Prior to the Army, he worked as a young man on his mother’s 40-acre farm near Vinton, on the Ohio river on steam boats, and for Bob Evans in Gallipolis.

     Ken began a career with American Electric Power in 1950 as a groundman before retiring as area line supervisor in 1990. He and Lena enjoyed working and traveling to antique dealer shows for several years.

     Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery Gallipolis at 1p.m. Thursday, October 14 2021.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME, Chillicothe.
