Kenneth M. Worley, Sr., 79, of Chillicothe, passed at 10:42 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025 in Doctor’s Hospital, Columbus following an extended illness.
He was born May 17, 1946, in Chillicothe, to the late Thomas J. Sr. and Leola Juanita Seymour Worley. On August 2, 2013, he married the former Donna Pontious who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Kenneth M. (Tracie) Worley, Jr.; daughter, Kathleen Gosiorowski; a stepson, Gary Pontious; grandchildren, Rebecca Worley and Keith Russell; step grandchildren, Kayla (Mark) Cunningham and Krista (Ray) Drigo; a great granddaughter, Bristol Madden; a brother, Thomas J. (Sue) Worley, Jr.; a sister, Sharon (Steve) Whitley; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Earlene Fyffe Worley; brothers, Rodney Worley, Willard Worley and Wayne Grubb; and a step son, Keith Rutter.
Ken served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired from YSK. Ken enjoyed restoring antique cars and attending car shows. He was a member of Good Guys Car Club in Columbus and was a Charter Member of Igniters Car Club in Chillicothe.
Visitation will be held at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2025. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral service.
