Kenny Davis

     Kenny Davis, 87, of Chillicothe passed 2:34 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Legacy of Chillicothe following a brief illness.

     He was born August 21, 1937 in Warren County to the late James I. and Lydia Watts Davis.  On October 9, 1958 he married Anna M. Kellough who preceded him on March 31, 2019.

    Surviving are children, Donald “Dewey” (Susan) Davis, of Chillicothe, Rhonda (Joe) Brown, of Chillicothe, and Mike (Kathy) Davis, of Ft. Gay, WV; grandchildren, Klarissa Bonner, Justin (Stephanie) Davis, Robbie (Jessica) May, Natasha Davis, Jeremy Brown, Dustin Davis, Nate (Keisha) Davis, Christina Davis, Kaitlin Uhrig, and Elizabeth Davis; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Blanche Corsaw, of West Carrollton; brother-in-law, Roger Reige, of Latham; sister-in-law, Laura Davis, of Troy.  He was predeceased by son, Larry Davis; brothers, Argie, Clyde, Donald, Raymond, Paul and Sherman Davis; sister, Pauline Reige.

     Kenny retired from the Mead Corporation after 45 years and was a member of UPIU Local 731.  He was a member of Shady Glen CCCU.  Kenny was a devoted, loving father and grandfather.  He loved going to church and golfing with his friends at the VA.

     Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jeff Adams officiating.  Burial will follow in Twin Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
