Kimberly Jean Sommers

     Kimberly Jean Sommers, 57, of Piketon formerly of Chillicothe, died 7:08 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2020 in the Pavilion of Piketon following an extended illness.

     She was born July 21, 1963, in Ross County, to the late Harry and Marilyn Steinbrook Sommers. 

     Surviving are 7 brother and sisters, Janis (Larry) Brown, Larry (Sally) Sommers, Vicki Patton, Joy (Joe) Wilt, Mark Sommers, all of Chillicothe, David Sommers, of Bainbridge and Susan Smally, of Hillsboro; nieces and nephews, Douglas and Brian Mead, Larry Brown, Jr., Tiffany Woodruff, Erin Springer, Mandy Sommers, Kevin and Karidy Patton, Donald Sommers, Shelby Sommers, Patrick Wilt, Anthony Houser and Eric Sines; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Don Sommers and her companion and caregiver, Walt Allison. 

     The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the staff at the Pavilion at Piketon for the wonderful care given to our sister.

     There will be no funeral service or calling hours.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
