L. June Trainer

     L. June Trainer, 93, of Chillicothe, passed 6:28 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022 in ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehab of Chillicothe following an extended illness.

     She was born June 29, 1929, in Vinton County, Ohio, to the late David F. and Alice Wycoff Andrews.  On February 10, 1951, she married David P. Trainer who passed October 19, 2014.

     Also surviving are children, Roger (Karen) Trainer, Patty Scott, both of Richmond Dale, Frank Trainer, and Leona (Scott) Weaver, both of Chillicothe; 15 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by an infant son, Dennis Floyd Trainer; 2 brothers; 4 sisters; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Trainer; and a son-in-law, Edsel Scott.

     June had worked at the Mead Cafeteria and also had driven a school bus for Southeastern Local Schools.

     Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Brett Fisher officiating.  Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
