Larry E Sites

     Larry E. Sites, 78, of Chillicothe, passed at 8:10 p.m. Friday, September 12, 2025 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

     He was born August 19, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Edward E. and Gloria A. Imes Sites.  On May 3, 1969, he married the former Kathleen J. Gaines who survives. 

     In addition to his wife, surviving are a son, Michael E. Sites, of Chillicothe; a daughter-in-law, Brianna Oesterle; a grandson, Julian Sites; and a brother, Daryl Sites, of Chillicothe.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Cheryl Landman. 

     Larry retired from the US Shoe Corporation.  After retirement, he worked at the former Dan’s Home Supply.

     The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the staff of Adena Hospice, especially Jen. 

     He was a member of Overly Chapel where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2025 with Rev. Bill Stanley officiating.  Burial will follow in Overly Chapel Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
