Lenora I. Wilcox

     Lenora I. Wilcox, 85, of Chillicothe, passed at 9:20 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2024 at the Vineyards of Concord, Frankfort, Ohio, following an extended illness.

     She was born March 19, 1939, in Wellston, Ohio, to the late John and Hazel McGinnis Thacker.  On June 15, 1958, she married Clyde E. Wilcox, Jr. who passed on November 29, 1975. 

     Surviving are a daughter, Teri (Abe) Claytor, of Richmond Dale; a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory Wilcox and Deb Pennell-Wilcox, of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Sarah (Caleb) Graham, Stephanie (Jason) Abplanalp, Michael Wilcox and Matthew Wilcox; great grandchildren, Ally, Keela and Kasen; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by 5 brothers and 4 sisters. 

     Lenora retired from National City Bank.

     Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2024 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with readings by the family.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the WARE FUNERAL HOME for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Monday.
