Leo E "Dusty" Rhodes

     Leo E. “Dusty” Rhodes, 84, of Chillicothe. Died 6:40 a.m. Monday September 20, 2021 in Concord at Vineyards following an extended illness.

     Leo was born January 3, 1937 in Ross County to the late Lewis and Mary Freshour Rhodes. On October 18, 1960 he married the former Delores L. Reutinger, who died April 21, 2020.

     Surviving are children, Kimberly (Hobart) Woods, Beth (Brian) Williams and Sharma Rhodes, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Megan Fultz, Ryan Williams and Corrine Woods, all of Chillicothe; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Braelynn Fultz; sisters, Norma Stumbo, of Grove City and JoAnn Hurless, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. Dusty was predeceased by a brother, Melvin Rhodes; and a sister, Lois Boxwell.

     Dusty served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired in 1994 from DuPont as a machine operator where he had worked for 28 years. He was a member of the Bainbridge Lodge No. 196 F&AM and all Chillicothe York Rite Bodies, life member and past commander of V.F.W. Post 108 and American Legion Post 62.

     There will be no funeral service or calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
