Leon O. Sheets

Leon O. Sheets, 70, of Chillicothe, passed 5:38 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2025 at his residence unexpectedly.

     He was born February 21, 1955, in Ross County, to the late Ora G. and Marilyn A. Oyer Sheets. 

     Surviving are a daughter, Jackie Mason, of Chillicothe; a granddaughter, Madelyn Mason and her boyfriend, Bryce Blaney; a sister, Debbie Spriggs, of Washington; a niece, Tammy (Casey) Mercer, of Washington; and 2 great nieces. 

     Leon retired from CSX Railroad. 

     A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME.  A private committal service will be held at the convenience of the family in Grandview Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Cats and Company 626 Central Center Chillicothe, Ohio 45601 or to Fayette Regional Humane Society 4 Commercial Avenue Washington CH, Ohio 43160.
