Linda Sue Stocklin

     Linda Sue Stocklin, 79, of Chillicothe, died 4:50 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

     She was born March 22, 1942, in Ross County, to the late Thomas A. and Rosalie Basye McIntyre.  She was predeceased by her first husband, William F. Shaffer, who died May 3, 1993.  On April 1, 1995, she married Charles F. Stocklin who died November 9, 2017.

     Surviving are step children, Deb (Ray) Large, of Florida, Ed (Lisa) Stocklin, of Hallsville and Chris H. Stocklin, of Chillicothe; 5 step grandchildren; 13 step great grandchildren; 4 step great great grandchildren; a brother, Victor (Alexis) Bouillion, of Chillicothe; a sister, Lisa (John) Ratcliff, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Rosalie and Henry and a son, William Stephen Shaffer. 

     Linda was a very active member of St. Peter Church.  She had worked as a cashier for different supermarkets and had also driven for Archway Cookies. 

     Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 1 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2021 in St. Peter Church with Fr. Jacob Stinnett, Celebrant.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. prior to the Mass on Monday.
