Lois Ann James

     Lois Ann James, 87, of Chillicothe passed 6:55 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2026 at the Adena Regional Medical Center.

     She was born May 19, 1938 in Ross County to Nellie Bell.  On May 19, 1963 she married Clarence E. “Bud” James who preceded her on June 14, 2022.

     Surviving are son, Ned R. James, of Chillicothe; granddaughters, Alicia James, of Chillicothe and Amy James, of Florida; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Betty (Noke) Tisdale, of Chillicothe.  She was predeceased by sister and brother-in-law, Imogene (David) Sheetz and brother, Douglas Scott.

     Lois is a retired school bus driver for the Chillicothe Schools.

     There will be no public services.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
