Lola G. Beeler

     Lola G. Beeler, 90, of Chillicothe, died 6:07 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 in National Church Residences, Chillicothe, following an extended illness.

     She was born October 9, 1930, in Chillicothe Ohio, to Gertrude (Schoppert) who died October 10, 1930.  Lola was later adopted by Anna Maude (Schoppert) Wright and her husband Lloyd Wright. Both parents predeceased her.  On February 20, 1987, she married Jack Beeler who died June 12, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer.

     Lola is survived by brother in law, Jerry Beeler and wife Charlotte, sister in laws; Nancy Park, Carolyn Dickerson and husband Paul, Cindy Fields and husband Cecil, several nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved dog Muffin.

     She graduated in 1949 from Chillicothe High School.  After graduation Lola cared for and helped the elderly for over 40 years until retiring in 1995 to care for her husband.  She was a member of the Walnut Street Methodist Church for over 70 years.  In the year 2000, she was named Ross County Senior Citizen of the year.  Lola was also a member of Masonic Lodge #6 Ladies Organization since her late husband was a member of all the local Masonic organizations and also Aladdin Temple in Columbus before his death.

     At her request, there will be no calling hours or services.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery after cremation.  In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Ross County Humane Society or to Walnut Street Methodist Church.
